Formed in 2009, the finnish two-man outfit Dead Earth plays an ambient industrial inspired blend of doom metal, though the artists themselves shun lengthy genre allocations.

The first mini album, titled O Dark Hundred, was released in February 2010. Heavily inspired by post-apocalyptic fiction and contemporary industrial and doom artists, Dead Earth paints bleak soundscapes for the pre-apocalyptic now.
