First time I've tried this sub-hosting thing in Cubase SE. I have Addictive Drums as my subhosted drums. I chose the kit in Jamstix Mixed kit in the AD folder. The outputs should be OK, as I needed to up them to 8 and restart.
I think I'm getting some AD sounds, as I saw kit pieces lighting up and playing (I adjusted them to see), but now I don't. When I choose the midi track that has AD as the Instrument, it plays. However, I think Jamstix is still playing, cause I can turn off AD and I still hear drums.
Any thoughts? |

Your description is a bit confusing. Please re-phrase and detail your song setup. It almost sounds as if you have AD loaded in Cubase AND in JS. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Got it working. No more late nights trying something new.
I just had to read the manual carefully and try a few things. One of them was starting again in Cubase Essential 5 and not SE.
Oh, and yes I did have it hosted in both Cubase and JS. I didn't quite get the concept at first (JS actually being the host, that is).
Thanks for the reply, Ralph. |
