| I haven't installed any of the 3 betas yet (I always screw installs up), but I have downloaded the 3 manual and I noticed that in song builder the manual states that the user specifies the length of the verses and choruses, but Jamstix determines the lengths of intros, endings, bridges, etc. Is that correct? I have a drum track that is finished, but i want Jamstix to make some embellishments- accents and fills. The length of my intro, bridge, solos has already been determined. Is there a way to specify this in song builder? Thanks, and sorry for the long post. |

You can adjust the lengths/reps it sets easily enough in the song sheet but the Song builder is primarily aimed at those who do not have any drum track. What is your drum track in (MIDI track or is it as JS2 arrangement)? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| First, I laid out the arrangement of the song in the song sheet, I used drag and drop, and dropped the existing groove ( a verse pattern) into JS, then I assigned a drummer, and let JS do its thing, and I am very happy with the results. So far I have used 3 different drummers, and have saved the midi tracks of each one-like them all. I guess my question is, will I be able to change part lengths in JS3 and still be able to use the song builder? I hope I am making this clear. Thanks for your reply, Ralph. |

The sogn builder is essentially a tool that automates many of the chores associated with creating as song from scratch: creating the needed parts, setting lengths/reps, loading styles and drummers, adjusting power hands, half-time, setting fills etc.
All of this can be adjusted manually afterwards. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
