When I right click on a measure button the menu has a choice of choosing a JS1 fill on that measure, but when I choose this it takes me to my JS2 install folder which has no JS1 fills. Where am I supposed to find the JS1 fills. I would like to occasionally be able to choose a certain fill rather than JS2 create a randon fill. I would like this option no matter what but the main reasonn is that no matter how I set the snare-toms ratio I many times get nothing but a snare fill no matter how many times I recompose it. Help in either of these problems will be greatly appreciated.

Russell

Please use 'Import JS1 fill' at the bottom of the bar editor menu. Also, make sure you have at least Jamstix 2.5.1 installed concerning the snare/tom ratio.

I click on this menu on the bar editor menu and on my old install on retired computer it would pull up a list of fills, but on my new install on new computer with JS3 beta and JS2 the list drops down but there are no fills listed in menu.

Sounds like JS1 was not installed. Alternatively, you can copy the fills (raf files) from the 'accents' folder of the old computer JS1 install.

Sorry to ask this here, but how can I know I have everything from JS1 in JS2 and then be able to import everything to JS3?

I don't have JS1 fills either, but I think I have all sounds from JS1 in JS2 (I have all packs available). I do have "Import JS1 rhythm" available.

If I want to have all patterns from JS1, what should I do?

Sorry again to the OP.

Best way is to install JS1. JS2 and 3 will then see it and use its resources.
