I used to have to press the Ctrl key to save my projects in Reaper for it to save the Drum data from JS.I know don't have to do this with the latest JS 2 update however other problems have now arisen.

If I am working in JS inside Reaper and then close it can take up to 10 seconds or more to close which it never used to do.
If I play the track in Reaper whilst JS is open and close JS then it's instant. This is getting annoying as It's adding a lot of time to my work-flow when doing a lot of Drum editing.

I've tried reverting to earlier Reaper versions but the behaviour is still the same.I tried going back to an earlier version of JS but that's not allowed either as all my Reaper projects come up with JS saying it needs the latest version so I have to re-load the last jamstix.dll.

I've tried loads of options in Reaper to try and cure this but with no luck. One thing that does stop the behaviour is in Reaper's Preferences/VSTs disabling the,"Save Full VST state if supported(recommended) but then not even using the Ctrl key will save the Drum data in Reaper from JS.

Any help Ralph?

PS
something worth noting that has always happened with JS and Reaper is that if you load a project and hit play JS will play as normal but if you then go to FX and start to edit it's as if JS is loading it's samples again as it can take a long time to load depending on the complexity of the drum track. This is in,"Jam No Input mode" which I use solely.

Can you send me a sample REAPER project that has the long close times?
