Hi-

I just installed a bunch of paks after reinstalling Jamstix, but I'm missing sounds in several kits. In Jazz Kit - Normal Ride (XL), for example I get:

I installed all 3 parts of the XL Pak, though, and those sounds weren't missing in my previous install. Help, please!

That's odd. Those are XL Pak sounds. I have just renewed your download links so please try installing the DrumPak #1 RXP, which also contains these files.

You shouldn't need them since they are in the XL.

They should be in XL Pak. Did you have a recent XL Pak install?

I installed the xl_pak parts 1~3, with .rxp2 files dated Jul 2007 and May 2008. I don't know if those are the most recent, but my download links are broken so I can't get more recent ones if there are any.

Sorry to bug you about this, but how can I get those sounds? Are the xl_pak parts I have outdated, based on the file dates I posted? My download links have all expired, so if I need to get any files can you please renew the links and tell me which to download?

That solved the Brush Pack problem, although I'm not sure why, since the files I reinstalled had the same sizes and dates as the ones I'd already installed.

At any rate, I redownloaded/reinstalled all the drum packs just in case, and there are still some that show up with sounds missing (Drumpak #1 - Deep Snare, has 5 sounds missing, for example).

Is that because I don't have JS1 installed? I only reinstalled JS2 after my PC crashed.

Not a big deal, I'm mostly just curious.

It could be some old mapping that relied on some JS1 sounds. Can you tell me the kit name?

Drumpak #1 is missing 5 sounds for all 4 variations:
China -12"
China - 18"
Snare Sidestick - 14" Stage Custom
Splash - 10"

There might be others, I haven't tried them all yet.

Those are JS1 sounds. You can either install the JS1 sounds or change the sounds to JS2 variants.

I|m having a similar problem to Susan's. I believe I have installed every pak you have released, but I'm still missing a lot of sounds. Here's a screenshot of the report when I try to load the 'Jamstix2 - Funk' kit. Can you please tell me from which pak the missing sounds come?
