Hi All,
I just installed the demo and am attempting to run it on a system with 512MB of memory.
However, I get a message saying there's insufficient memory to load the soundfont, then my DAW software (Traction) terminates.
Is there anyway to lower the memory usage so I can load the soundfont?
(For example sfz+ allows you to choose different bit depths for the soundfont and/or allows it to be read directly from disk as needed.)
If not, guess I'll have to uninstall. (And the requirements should probably be updated to require more memory?) |

Hi Frank 
You are going to be pushing it with that amount of ram but still doable.
In JS on the kit page there's a,"Low Mem" button.Click that for now.
Make sure you have no unneeded programs running in your startup group and tune the system.If XP then click here,

If you have to make a New Windows profile and disable everything running in the back ground like anti-virus etc and also don't have an internet connection in that profile then you won't be tempted to connect without protection.
I use Avast Free Anti-Virus as it's very low on CPU and RAM
