No red audio light

Hello

I installed reaper and jamstix. I want jamstix to play against an prerecorded audio track. I put audiom8 on the audio track. I set jamstix to 'jam with audio". The weird thing is: the red audio ligth doesn't blink and there is no dynamic (just plain boring) drum playing going on. Sad

Who can help me ?

Oh yes, don't know if it matters: it is JS demo version
