Hi - I've got Cubase SX3, which has compressors and EQs available for VST instruments, and of course after rendering them to Audio.
How would folks compare the quality of the JS2 compressors/EQs with Cubase's? Are the JS2 compressors/eqs pretty basic quality, mainly for people that don't have access to a host with decent ones? Or are they actually pretty high quality?
I also have UAD compressors and eqs. Similar question here - would you recommend I use those rather than the ones in JS2?
Thanks - _________________ Alexis

Thanks again, Sheppol! I'll just record them dry into Cubase then. Rather than add more stuff to my hardrive, I'll use the UAD-1 and Cubase comps/eqs/gates, etc.

| In effect I apply JS dry maybe with a little treble in the mixer. Then it's easier to apply the EQs and Compressors like you are doing in the DAW.JS is pretty good out-of-the-box but as said the material you record changes all the rules. |
