I have the Addictive Drums demo sub-hosted in JS2 and only the Snare and Hi-Hat are loaded. The Kick and Cymbal (which are also part of the AD Demo) are shown as 'missing' in the AD UI. If I load the AD demo by itself, all four pieces are loaded properly. Any ideas?

That's weird but we never tested with the AD demo. I can assure you that it works fine with the full AD. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the reply. I really like the sound of the AD drums. I only have the basic JS2 kits. Are there any kits included with the other JS paks that sound as good as the AD drums? I especially like the detailed sound shaping controls and FX in AD. I'm looking for a nice tight funk-style set that I can use in my hip hop beats in place of a drum machine. I know EZD has a Funk Masters expansion that would probably give me the sound I'm looking for, but I haven't found a demo of EZD to try out yet. Do any of the JS kits have that type of sound?
Thanks! |

The XL version of Jamstix comes with additional kits for funk and also electronic sounds. There are also mixed kits of acoustic and electronic sounds. The MetalPak also adds nice tight sounds. Here is a quick sample:
Demo For Chisel
This is 'Mark' playing the 'Hip Funk' style. It's unedited so excuse anything he does that needs polishing. I'm changing kits as it plays (which also causes the small interruptions). It starts off with MetalPak+XL Snare then several XL kits and finally a bit of BonzoPak. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
