Hi Ralph
I have been using JS2 since 07. It has been very effective for laying down
drum tracks for a small group I play with. I tried a few others before I settled on JS2. I recently upgraded my Win XP 32 bit computer for a newer
Win Vista X64 model. There has been no end of trouble since my upgrade.
I am at the point where I have disable the UAC on the Vista Mach. I reinstalled JS2 to a folder outside of "Program Files" I added the JS2 folder to the VST Plugin folder in Sonar Producer 6. When ever I insert an instance of JS2 It asks for my user name and Lic Key. When I try to load a Kit it stops working and asks for the LIc Key again and gives an error message.
"JS2 has been disabled due to an invalid Lic Key. JS2 stops working
Do you have any suggestions?

Try starting Sonar with right-click, 'Run As Administrator' (just once) to enter the licenses. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph
Thanks for the quick response. As usual your advice is right on the money.
I believe I have JS2 working again. I also went against my old philosophy
that If it aint broke, dont fix it. Should have stuck with Win XP. The sounds
from the Win X64 computer are terrible. Could it be that they are being created in the Virtual X86 machine? Seems like XPrevenge.
Thanks Again
Brew.

If the sound is crackling then increase your latency. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph
Great advice from the get go. Thanks!!!
There might be some hidden gems to be found n Vista X64 yet. Will share with you when I find them.
I like the Jamcussion Add-on. But how can I control the sound in the mixer.
I use all 8 stereo outs for the drum set. Can I add another four stereo outs
for the Jamcussion? And mix them all together in the Ambience on the last stereo track?
Regards
Brew

You can increase the audio outputs in the 'Mixer'. JS2 supports up to 17 stereo outputs. You can set the audio output for the JC sounds in the kit editor. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
