Hello Ralph,
I updated to demo 1.2 from demo 1.02G. I am not able to hear the snare drum sound on beats 1 and 2. The eighth notes for these beats also do not sound. Only one related 1/16 beat works on these first two beats. The other drum sounds seem to be working correctly. If I switch to all sidestick, the problem still remains.
Also, is it possible to use Jamstix with a Roland R8 drumbox or other midi keyboard with drum sounds. Thanks |

Could you save an example of this in Jamstix as a FXP in your host and send it to us (support@rayzoon.com)?

Yes, you can do this by sending the MIDI output of Jamstix to the MIDI port that leads to the drum machine. The exact procedure depends on your host.
Also, MIDI output in the Jamstix demo is limited to bars 1 through 4 . _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the quick response, Ralph!
Could you explain how I can "save an example as a FXP in your host and send" it to you? I'm presently using Cubase LE with a Presonus Firepod interface. I don't know if this is relevent, but after a recent system restore my Jamstix reverted back to 1.02G. I then reloaded the 1.2 demo, overwriting the .dll file and other files a second time.
The missing snare sounds were not present even after I reset the rhythm pattern and only had snare sounds programmed. Many of the 1/16 snare hits (before and after) do not sound. |

Use 'Save Bank' in the disk icon menu of the Cubase part of the Jamstix GUI. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hey Ralph,
I believe I emailed the requested file to your support email. It shows a basic snare setup which shows the problem. Hope you find a fix as I find the 1.2 demo tighter and smoother to my click track. Thanks again. |

Brilliant Ralph!
The snares are back in town! The x4-9 fix worked.
Now I'll try hookin' up my drumbox with Jamstix. Thanks again. |
