I'm starting to get my act together with Jamstix, but there's something I can't figure out:

I'm working on a ballad recorded in Sonar. I'm using the 8th Rock style and the Phil drummer. In order to get a nice soft sidestick hit on the snare, I have the Input Level Trim slider set to 40%.

For the second verse, I want the intensity to increase so that the drummer starts hitting the snare normally, but I'm not sure how to do that.

I'm sure that the answer is right in front of me, but I'm just not seeing it due to information overload (easy for that ot occur with me).

Thanks for your help.

Instead of reducing the input trim, reduce the threshold of the 'Auto Snare' in the brain so that the sidestick kicks in. In the second verse set the threshold higher so it doesn't.
