How do I start play at somewhere other than the begining of a song? My DAW's (Reaper). And, how come the other usernames don't have underscores? Thanks.

Use the REAPER transport controls to start at any bar you desire.

We started requiring the underscore as an anti-spam measure about a year ago or so. Users that signed on before that didn't need to have it.

Except that there is nothing "in" the transport/tcp to scroll. There is no audio (yet) and I haven't recorded Jamstix midi.

All I'm doing is writing song parts in the song sheet and would like to move around the timeline. Reaper's transport can start/stop/pause, but not scroll. I hope I'm making sense.

You can add some fake event (MIDI controller or some audio) at the estimated end of your song so REAPER 'sees' something to scroll within.
