Basicly I outlined this in the general forum and Doc helped.

I copied my JS2 folder to the new HD which is running Win 7 64 bit.
The old HD was running Xp and that drive is now either corrupt or going out .

Upon opening the copied folder with Reaper it asked for my license and user name .
user name was easy and I found my email from 2007 and copy pasted the license.

When JS2 started it said invalid license and then closed.

Now what? Daw is Reaper also in 64 bit

Start REAPER via right-click "Run As Admin' for the license entry.
