|
|
Hi,
I had a Drum + Percussion part which I now want to use with liveloops to do three parts.
I've made 2 copies so I now have
Drums/silent style + percussion (change drum to silent style and clear entire bar on all 4 core bars)
Drums + percussion
Drums + percussion/silent style (change percussion to silent style and clear entire bar on all 4 core bars)
The problem is I can never get the two silent parts completely cleared.
It always wants to seem to recompose accents or partial grooves in there.
In particular the accents. Even if I clear out the core bars on a 4 bar/200 rep part how do I clear out all the non core bars automatically and reliably?
How do I take a dual drum/percussion part and convert one side to silent completely, so only either the drums or percussion is playing? This is driving me batty trying to figure it out...and please don't tell me to start from scratch! I have a while bunch of drum/percussion parts I want to convert.

If you select 'Silent' for style AND drummer then you won't get any accents etc. in the empty bars. If you need to keep the drummer (i.e. for fills) then set the 'Overall' slider in the accent tab to zero.
Using this method you can set drums and percussion to silent for each part as needed. In a future update we will add a per-part mute option. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
