Do the brain (goove, fill, accent) settings ever get saved? With a groove, bar, part, or song?

Much less the global shuffle and power setting. Gads, there's so much flexibility. LOL.

(had this buried in earlier posting).

All settings get saved with the project, song or part.

When I saved a song, the brain settings were saved!

But style and drummer were not. Is this the usual case?

Loaded the song back in the next day. Wanted to recomponse a part and style/drummer were blank (or silent) so it ended up silencing the bar I was looping. Remember the original style but forgot which drummer.

Will do.

Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I save everything I can (such as the song) to a firewire/usb external harddrive; not the default location. Lost a bunch of stuff last summer due to an OS crash, so ALL project data is tucked away on another drive.

For future updates, would it be possible to set all save locations in a settings - global preferences option? Or at least for each save action from drop menus/GUI buttons?

I am beginning to get the hang of JS2, and mein gott, is it powerful! Am still trying to merge/reconcile the JS2 and my host app (Tracktion3) workflows, but am getting there.
