I changed the midi channel for each part in a kit and then saved the song

when I dragged out the song from JS into another track every note was still assigned to channel 1

shouldn't the exported midi have the channel data too?

solved

for future reference: I let the song play through once. I then dragged it out again and all the notes had their correct channels
