Hi Ralph,
I've installed the last upgrade 2.5.2 .
Today I wanted to introduce toms accents in my groove ("Modern Funk - Phil").
It was the first time, since I usually exclude tom accents .
This didn't work: I didn't get any tom accents, even at the maximum amount.
So I made a test, specifically for the accents, and I've found that:
1) buzzing accents work "lazy". I mean that at the maximum amount they come, but very few ones, without any differences between low and high rates of amount.
2) tom accents are totally absent, even left alone (without any other piece) at the maximum amount . Sometimes there's coming on an isolated tom hit, but just sometimes, after many bars, without any logic.
3) sometimes there are some unwanted single cymbal hit accent, during the groove, in spite of excluding this kind of accents .
4) the other kind of accents (HH, Cymbals, ghosting ecc.), when selected, work fine.

I've repeated the test with other styles, drummers and kits, turning on-of the computer and Cubase, but the results were everytime the same.

Stefano

Do you mean 'Snare Ghosts'? They have set patterns. Reducing 'Overall' amount will thin them out but increasing it won't affect the pattern.

'Modern Funk' accents are a 16th before the groove snare. At full amount you should see one before every groove snare.

Can you send a sample song file that shows this?

No, I dont' mean snare ghosts. I mean just "buzzing": the last accent you find, for example, in Modern Funk - Phil.

Nothing at all. Anything.
Normally tom accents dont' work.
Sometimes, when I reset the song and i play it again, from the beginning, tom accents work but, after some bars, they stop and "disappear" without any reason (I don't modify anything, during the execution).

OK I'll send you a sample song sooner

Thanks for your kindness, Ralph
