Have you thought about choices in the Song area that provide for Accents Repetition/Transition and Jam W/ 1)None 2)Audio 3)Midi?
This software is great for mixing, these would be great choices for adding different dynamics to play with. |

Sure. In the song area, there are places to check Fill Repetition and Fill Transition. The suggestion is essentially to add Accent Repetition and Accent Transition as well as Jam w/ Midi and Jam w/Audio.
Maybe I'm the only one who works like this and if so, feel free to ignore me (haha), but I don't use Jamstix to jam with, oddly enough. We play to a drum machine that I've learned to program really quickly and then I get the midi from that and get it into Jamstix and let Jamstix create cymbals, accents and fills on a per part basis.
Some parts need the accents, some don't. Some parts want Jamstix to listen to the audio or midi for dynamics, but other parts, I don't want it to listen to the audio or midi because the beat is the important thing there.
The Song pane is a great composition tool, allowing one to change styles and drummers, length and repetition and fill placement. I think the added options of being able to turn the accents on and off and select what if any input it Jams with on a per part basis would be beneficial options in the composing process. |

If you want accents completely off for a part, just drag the 'Overall reduce/increase' slider at the top of the Accents tab all the way to the left. _________________ Win7 RC, Core 2 Quad Q6600, Sonar 8, Superior 2 |
