I have a midi drum track driving Jamstix in "drum machine mode". I would like to add percussion using the brain, but leave the drum side alone. Is this possible?

Set it up in "Jam - No Input" Mode, make sure that in options "MIDI play in Jam" is checked. Set up all your parts as needed for the percussion changes, but set the style and drummer in the Drums side to "Silent" for all the parts.
Pretty sure that should do what you want..... though not sure about the mapping in that mode, since you lose the "Map GM" button... hmmm |

| Maybe a second instance of Jamstix, one for drums, one for percussion. |

| I checked it a song I had in Drum Module mode, Map GM on. Switched to Jam - No Input, and it continued to work just fine. So I guess setting that button in Drum Module mode carries over into the other modes with Play Midi in Jam turned on. |

@rcraig2 - Thanks - I will give this a try and let you know.
@PeterL - I thought of using 2 instances, but I've read several posts that warn against this so I figured I would see if there was another option. Ralph seems to have thought of just about all scenarios.
