Hi Ralph,
I'm working in Cubase5.01 and I have a problem with midi export in jamstix 2.5.2b1
Currently I host battery3 inside jamstix, great team IMO, and everything works as expected using the brain but when I export midi and use js as a drum module it doesn't sound right (I make sure to clear buffers and play through arrangement once before exporting midi):
if I drag n drop the song to a midi track and switch to drum module mode the hihat cc4 doesn't work, leaving the hat stuck open. Same thing if I use the "enable midi out" option and record the output on another track through routing. In this way even if I switch back to jam mode the hihat remains stuck open forever and I have to close and reopen the project to get it back to normal behaviour.
As a side note I'd like to mention that in Ableton Live 8 I have midi export related problems as well when hostin battery3 inside jamstix: it crackles and skips a lot of notes whereas just routing the same midi to an external battery3 instance works ok.
Hope I've explained it clearly enough
cheers |

When playing back in module mode, make sure 'Map GM" is not checked.
Also, placing a single CC4 event with value 127 at the start of your song will allow you to quelch the open hats. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
