Mouse cursor bug when adjusting instrument knobs
Steps to reproduce:
1. Ensure you have a Jamstix song that has multiple parts
2. Open the kit view
3. Right-click on any instrument to edit it
4. Press play in your host
5. Click and hold the left mouse button as if to modify one of the parameters like "Vol" or "Pan".
6. Wait for the Jamstix song position to cross from one part to the next (while holding the mouse button down)
7. After the next part started, release the mouse button.
Result:
The mouse cursor is now invisible, no matter where you move it within Jamstix or the host, or any other window that belongs to the host. Moving it outside to the desktop or to a non-host owned window will make it visible again, but move it back and it becomes invisible again.
The only way to recover from this is to carefully "hunt" for the host's close button (it will highlight when the invisible cursor is over it), then using the keyboard to select "Yes" when asked to save any changes, and then close and re-open the host again.

Is Rayzoon at least going to confirm/deny that this is a bug? I went through the effort to write up detailed steps on how to reproduce this. _________________ Intel DX48BT2, Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66GHz, 8GB DDR3, Edirol FA-66, Studio One 2, Sonar X3e x64, JS 3.6.0, Windows 8.1 Pro x64 |

Seems a little harsh to me...
I think the track record around acknowledging / rectifying bugs is fantastic compared to any other piece of software I own. Two or three days doesn't seem unreasonable to me... |

Fair enough. It is true that Razoon has been much more responsive than most vendors.
I was just annoyed at the time because this bug caused me to have to interrupt my project twice, and it felt like it was ignored. I have written many bug reports to other companies and very often it is just ignored or denied as not being a bug. I write software for a living so I think I can spot a bug when I see one, which is why it ticks me off when some companies act as if it is not really a bug.
But yea, Razoon is not like that, so you are correct. _________________ Intel DX48BT2, Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66GHz, 8GB DDR3, Edirol FA-66, Studio One 2, Sonar X3e x64, JS 3.6.0, Windows 8.1 Pro x64 |
