Just wondering if in a future version it might be possible to have some control over the number and type of kit pieces. For example, in BFD 2, you can have 2 kicks, six toms, and 2 snares. The Jamstix kit has 1 kick, 5 toms, and 1 snare. Jamstix has a LOT more cymbals in its interface than BFD, however.

It would be useful at times to be able to swap out a cymbal for an extra tom, for example. I'm sure I could assign one of the current kit pieces to play the right midi note to trigger whatever sound I want, but I'm sure the Jamstix brain is going to treat a cymbal slot differently than a tom slot, as the brain can't 'know' what the sound really is.

I'm not asking for kits the size of something Terry Bozio might play (although one of the Bozio kits in KitCore has 24! toms...), but perhaps even several different-sized kits for the interface could be useful.

In the same vein, would it be possible to have the brain support double kick drums? Not simply producing double-kick style patterns on 1 midi note, but on 2 notes, when sub-hosting a vst with dual kick drum samples?

Thanks for listening. Er, reading, I guess... Very Happy

At the moment you can only reduce the kit (less toms or less cymbals) but not expand it. We'll see what we can do in future updates.
