hi.

as you may remember from my previous posts about how Jamstix works, i CANNOT download Jamstix until a more computer-savvy acquaintance (whom i have to pay for his time) helps me get my music-computer (not this one) online.

he is planning to help me download and install Jamstix next tuesday. however i just noticed the sale ends this friday.

i'm on a tight budget and would really prefer to save the $20.

so, unless i can get him to help me by friday (our schdules don't match up so it's hard) what can i do to get the sale price but install the software next week?

also, he asked me to ask you guys if it's possible to have a CD with the program mailed to me; he says it's good to have in case my computer crashes.

1) can i pay for Jamstix now but install it later? on Visa?
2) do you guys ever mail out (for a small fee) CDs of Jamstix as a backup? if not, what to do in case of a crash?

thanks for the instant reply, Ralph.

to be clear, if i have 2 weeks to download the files after payment it's not NECESSARY to burn the install files to a CD on another computer (i'd have to get help from someone at work with a burner and i'd prefer not to).

so i can pay today, not burn anything, and then download the install files next week from my music CPU?

did you give me 2 options -- wait 2 weeks OR burn NOW on another CPU -- or is this one instruction: i MUST burn the install files at the time of payment and i then have 2 weeks to install them in another CPU.

really sorry but i download nothing at work (IT says we can't) and have really no experience with these things.

also, if i am forced to burn the install files at the time of payment, can i do it on a MAC and then install the files onto my PC music cpu?

sorry about asking what's probably obvious (i'm a guitar player not a computer guy! learning all this DAW stuff is tough on me and slow going).
