|
|
depending on what drumkit I try to load I get a red lighted link called 'x songs missing' (x ranges from 3 to 12 depending on the kit I want to load). clicking on the link leads to the sounds that are missing.
Loading the Rock-Big Kit leads to 3 sounds missing:
China - 14'' Filter DP2
Crash - 18'' DP1
Ride Sizzle - 22'' Hammer JP.
That is annoying - especially when the snare sounds are not loaded.
This is not computerdependend I have the same problem on two totally different machines (I know, license policies may forbid this, but I had to test !!!!).
And it doesn't matter, whether update 2.5.1 is installed or not.
Please help, Jamstix is unusable in this state.
Thanks in advance

The 'Big Kit' requires the XL Pak. We forgot to add '(XL)' to the name to indicate that. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ralph,
thx for your answer.
I think the same happened to 'T20 -Bonzo hard'.
For me it's a pitty, because I would love to be able to use all kits, but - I am only some dollars away from it
I love Jamstix !

I'm having a similar issue, but to my knowledge, all the proper expansions are installed.
I've only experienced this with one kit so far, though, to be fair (it's just one that I really, really want to use! ).
When I try to load the XL Expansion's "Dry Ice" kit, there are times when all of the sounds of the kit will load, but more often than not, the kick is the only sound that does. Important to note is that they all *appear* to load-- I can audition them on the kit GUI, and they'll respond when I preview the sounds as if they're active (e.g., the respective drumheads light up)-- they even respond during playback. But no sound comes out besides the kick.
Specs:
-Windows XP (32-bit), SP3
-REAPER 2.58
Like I said, this appears to be the only kit that's done this so far, but it's a reaaallllllly good kit!
EDIT: I'm also using ver. 2.5.1 of JS. |

Holger: XLPak just went on sale today for $39
Codename_Gimmick: Either check 'Downmix' in the mixer or use a multi-output template for Jamstix in REAPER. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I think my question might be just too dumb to post a new thread, so here we go.
JS2, metal bonzo and xl pak are installed. When I load the electronic "boomtown" drum, I get a missing "snare sidestick 14'' custom" which I cannot load manually.
Is it possible that this snare was from JS1, which I have not installed on my newer machine? Or what could I have done wrong?
I just downloaded my old JS1 stuff and will install it anyway, just for fun, as JS1 was great too. Maybe that might solve the rather small problem. Or I just thought I had all paks by now, he he |

Yep, that is a JS1 sound, which should not have found its way into XL
If you install the JS1 sounds, this will be solved. Otherwise you can just pick a different snare and save the kit. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the superfast answer! Well at least it made a bit of sense that I, in a bit of nostalgia mood after watching an old JS1 video, downloaded the kits again .
And of course it would be no big thing to replace the one snare sidestick. Maybe that's what I'll do .
Just beginning to use the Jamcussion, and I am really really happy with it!! I bought the XL pak and the jamcussion only a short while ago, and will be busy testing these superb things for quite a while... |
