Hey everyone! Forgive me if this has been covered before...

I'm using Jamstix 1.2 in Cubase SX 2 to drive BFD via Midi-Out. When I select either "Always Ride" or enable "Power Play", the ride plays only between the quarter beats; the hi-hat foot pedal plays alone on the quarter beats. In other words, the hi-hat pedal and the ride will not play simultaneously on the quarter beats.

This does not occur when using Jamstix' internal kit, or when driving another drum rompler, eg. Sampletank, which leads me to believe this might be an issue unique to BFD.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks in advance!

This may be a question for BFD support. My BFD copy does not exhibit this symptom (V 1.0.8.11)

After having a closer look at the midi output data, I noticed that the quarter note ride hits were being sent to the ride bell -- which was disabled in the BFD hit options menu! Duh! Problem solved.

Good to know and thanks for the heads-up!

Sweet. Thats exactly the same problem I was having, so thanks for finding what the cause was.
Cheers Zauni for fixing the BFD GUI bug! Excellent support as always Smile
