Jamstix 2 and Sonar 8.3 not playing well together.

Was fine for about a day, and now Sonar with Jamstix as a plug in will not open unless I use safe mode and tell Sonar not to load Jamstix.

Seriously messes up Sonar. Takes about 10 minutes for Task manager to be able to shutdown Sonar.

Once Sonar is open, using safe mode, I can re-add Jamstix2 and play forever, and I can save and things shutdown nicely. Once I try to reopen the project Vista immediately tells me program not responding etc.

Bummer, was having fun with this program. Here is the Vista crash log.

Just a quick update....(in case anyone has a similar problem)

Whole issue seemed to be registry related, and probably Sonar (although I will never really know)

Any rate, ran a registry cleaning tool a bunch of times and now new Sonar projects all work fine with Jamstix2.

However, there a 2 or 3 projects that still will not open with Jamstix2 in them. But since I can open them using shift+click, I am not concerned. Now back to getting Jamstix2 becoming my drummer in all my songs with midi loops.

Jamstix support was very responsive...thank you.

Hi

Just read your message and like to say I found exactly the same problem. I found if I opened Sonar and the first project loaded contained Jamstix then 'crash' no go. I found if I open any other project (with Jamstix in it), then close it, then open a project with JS in then all is OK.

I will definitely check the registry now though.
