Hi I was taking a look at MDrummer videos and I've seen a feature which absolutely blew me off (it would suit my workflow perfectly) so I would like to know if there's a way in Jamstix2 to replicate it, maybe using liveloops which I've never completely understood how to work with, and if not if there's any chance of seeing it in the future.

The feature can be seen in these two videos:
Part1
Part2

Basically consists in using a midi track to drive Jamstix switching parts and controlling dynamics in a super fast and (IMO) intuitive way, and above all having the chance to move around the arrangement directly in the sequencer, without poking with the parts list.

I would like to point out that I'm a superfan of Jamstix2 (purchased every expansion) and consider it the MOST USEFUL DRUM SOFT AROUND BY FAR, is just that this very feature actually made me drool.

thanx, cheers

EDIT: I work in cubase4.x

Some of this already exists in Jamstix 2 via Liveloops and will be expanded on in Jamstix 3.

Here are the basics with liveloops:

Program Change MIDI events trigger each part. The part gets repeated until a different PC is received. Use the Fill Trigger MIDI key to place fills as needed.

Ok thanks a lot for clarifying this, I will dig deeper into Liveloops and look forward for the next release. If someone can point me to a tutorial involving liveloops and cubase I will be much grateful.

cheers!
