I really like this one. Even though I have some tweaks to make, it's close enough to being complete that it's ready for review.
I took a few risks musically and lyrically; even how the song came about was different for me.
I appreciate and welcome your comments.

Yeah, I think this is the most professional production on the drums I've heard on any track made with JS. Nice! _________________ Win7 RC, Core 2 Quad Q6600, Sonar 8, Superior 2 |

Yes, great!
Care to share what´s going on drum production- wise?
Is it a JS kit or do you subhost? |

THANK YOU for all your kind words. I spent a LOT of time on this one. But I can say that after listening to other's submissions, I knew I needed to step up in both production and content.
To answer the questions:
I route each drum sound to a separate output and EQ it to taste in Cubase. I rarely use any effects on the drums except some reverb for presence, and not all sounds got the same reverb or the same amount of reverb.
The only things that are not JS are the clap (a Sequel sample highly EQ'd) and the shaker (from SampleTank). I will admit to still using the original JS because JS2 is too complicated to me. I do want the percussion plug in, so I will have to figure it out at some point. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/liftedvoice |
