hi.
i'm probably the only guy in the world with a decent CPU home studio who doesn't have an internet connection. (i was told my system would be more stable if i just dedicated it to music production; and since i've got a work laptop and my wife's laptop to surf with i didn't get a modem for my music CPU.)
so, if i want to install Jamstix on my music CPU, can i download Jamstix to another CPU and burn it onto a CD or put it on a portable drive and then install it on my music CPU?
please reply in basic terms as i'm not very savvy with hardware or installing software, etc. but i've got friends who are and could help.
i'd like to try out Jamstix; do i need to get an internet connection for the CPU in question?
thanks kindly.

No you don't need an internet connection, you can do exactly what you suggested. Put it on a portable drive or CD and then install it to your DAW.
If you buy Jamstix you will receive a license file by email which is a text file. To install the license just put that file in the same directory as Jamstix. Next time Jamstix starts up it will read the text file, then it will delete the file so make sure you save it somewhere else.
