Hi,
I know I should 'just play with it' in true JS tradition, but I just want to make sure I understand this feature. I can't tell much of a difference with these 'flavors' under the options. |

Do you mean the 'Input Velocity Mapping' under 'Options'? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph,
No, its the velocity scaling options like "normal/static," or adaptive 1 etc accessible under the kit page. How is this different than the input velocity mapping? |

Velocity Scaling controls the way Jamstix assigns velocity layers and scales the volume of those layers. The static mode uses the preset assignments for each sound whereas the adaptive modes uses an analysis of sample loudness to determine velocity layer boundaries.
You will hear the differences when e-drumming or when Jamstix plays at low to medium song power. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
