I have searched the forums and haven't seen a post about this.
I'm using Jamstix 2.5.0 in Cubase Essential 4, and am having problems with the kit control for percussion when playing a 1 or 2 bar loop (this is when I had problems trying to place a drum that only plays in short bursts so I made a small loop) but it doesn't appear to happen in a longer loop.
I have selected:
Kit - Jamstix2 Funk, Style Amen Break, Drummer - Steve
Perc - Afro-cuban, Style - Light & Funky, Drummer - Handy
When trying to edit the volume and pan after right clicking on the drum in the kit window, I had difficulty getting a knob into focus with the mouse. Once it has focus, it is difficult to get it released again. Then once released it won't regain focus ( the mouse pointer jumps over the knob altogether).
Some of the knobs respond to the mouse without clicking, so they move when I am just moving the mouse.
If I stop the song, and go back to the main window, it appears to clear most of the problems, but they come back when I try again.
It's not such a problem now I realize it only happens on short loops, but I thought I'd let you know anyway.
Regards

Does this happen with 2.5.1 Beta 2 as well? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hi Ralph,
The computer had been on for 4 or 5 hours working on the same song. I shut Cubase down 3 times and still got the same problem. Now the PC has been off for an hour, I can't get it to happen at all.
Perhaps something else was interfering with the mouse behaviour but it was only apparent on JS control screen.
Sorry for the false alarm.
It's only at the end of working on a song that I'd start editing there. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if it happens again.
