|
|
I've looked in the manual and in this forum, but can't find an answer to this.
I want the intro to a song to not have any fills, so I'm creating that part manually. After that I'll let Jamstix jam the rest of it.
If I manually create a 2 bar part and then want to copy those 2 bars 55 times, is there a way that I can copy both then paste them? I can see how to copy one bar, but not both. The only way I can see to do this is manually.
Have I missed something? |

Seems like you should just create a 2 bar part with 55 reps. Turn off the fills by making sure the dots under R and T are unlit. And turn down all the sliders in the accent tab if you don't want any "extras" at all.
Or use "Silent" drummer, he'll only play what you program.
Make sure you do NOT set the part type as intro. |

| I'm using the silent drummer, but the problem is I don't know how to write the notes in the 2 bars then get them to fill the other 55 bars. If I create 2 bars then set up the repeats, the other 55 are empty. |

Have you tried to re-compose the part? I just tried it with both Charlie and Silent Drummer and it works fine.
Just make sure you lock the two bars before re-composing. |

| It just occurred to me, the other bars will be empty until you play it, Jamstix composes in real time. So the bars will fill up as it goes along. |

Can you tell a little more what you exactly want to do within the song structure?
Seems a little weird that you want to use so many,"Intros"? |

| Thanks for the advice - I needed to use recompose, and that did the trick! |
