Is there another way to adjust the power when importing a MIDI clip as a style?
I imported a four bar midi drum clip (from Sonar's Session Drummer) and though it plays well, the power is as low as it can go and I can't adjust it.
That brings up another question: on another track I was playing with this morning, I tried adjusting the power on different song parts but it seemed to be acting globally. Is there a way to adjust the power just for a particular part?
I have had Jamstix2 for some months but I am finally spending this weekend trying to figure out how to use it. I'm making progress but it's sort of slow. I did the tutorial that was posted and that helped.
Thank you! |

Switch to 'Jam Without Input' and then you can adjust the song power knob.

You can use VST or MIDI automation in the host to control song power throughout the song as needed. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the reply. So how would that work? What parameter would I be adjusting in Sonar?
Thanks. |

Sonar does this via 'Create Envelope' in the track menu. For VST automation you use NPRN mode and choose 'Power Level'. For MIDI automation you'd right-click on the song power knob and pick a controller number. Then use that number in the 'Create Envelope' MIDI controller mode of Sonar. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
