I just got the new "Bonzo" and "Metal" packs, and all of a sudden I can't bring my Battery 3 up?? What's the deal there? I don't have a lot of time to fool around with this kind of thing.
It would have been nice if Rayzoon could have told me the "names" of the 6 new "drummers" somewhere in the process of my acquiring them, as I don't have the time to pay much attention to all of that nonsense, except to know their drumming styles????
I need to know how I can bring up Battery very soon, or I'll just have to quit using jamstix, which means I'll never be able to recommend it to anyone ever again.

I had this problem.Work-around for now: try closing, not minimizing, the B3 window in Jamstix.
Or Press the configure button.I must say that the add on packs are so good I've not really bothered with Battery 3 for quite a time. The names of the 6 drummers are on the Rayzoon homepage, which you see before you click buy.Do you mean the actual drummers the names are taken from?.I know Neal Peart from Rush is one. There is a thread of the proper names of the drummers if you do a search.I note it says 5.18 AM on your post.Get some sleep next time, and come back to the problem.Jamstix requires patience, like any good thing. If you ain't got the time "to pay much attention to all of that nonsense" why do you want to know? _________________ EMU 1820M user |

As Steve pointed out, the MetalPak drummers are listed on the web page (and in the manual). For legal reasons, Rayzoon does not imply that these models represent actual people.
What exactly is the problem with using Battery 3 in JS2 for you? Maybe we can work this out with a bit more info. Also, a work-around is to load B3 in your host instead of JS2, set JS2 to 'MIDI Out Only' in the mixer, load the B3 mapping (which won't actually load the DLL due to the mixer switch) and drive B3 in the host via a MIDI track with input=Jamstix and output=B3. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I was just being a too tired dummy. Just needed to set my outputs for jamstix to 12.
Interesting to hear the new sounds are really good. I will have to fiddle with them. I have to admit that I bought these mainly for the new "drummers."
I do suppose it was in the back of my mind that these "drummers" might be based upon a real one or two. |
