What exactly are you trying to do with Jamstix and the pedal? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I will probably need at a minimum a light, regular and power drummer.
Through REAPER I seem to have control of Velocity. I have not tested it yet. After the all-nighter I need a rest. I expect to be able to add Reduction when I have more time.
This may be all I need. I am new to Jamstix so I do not really know. I see that there are numerous choices in REAPER. But I seem to be limited to the VST automation (wrapper?) controls.
My post was meant to help anyone else who has this problem to know the solution. I suppose I should have checked the Behringer forum first.
Does this make any sense? |

If Live let's you hook up the pedal to VST automation, then you should be able to control the 'Power Level' and "Reduction' VST parameters of Jamstix. Another way is to right-click on a control element in Jamstix and map it to a MIDI controller and control that with the Behringer. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Yes, REAPER (not Live) gives me Velocity. Reduction will probably after I set another instruction number on the pedal.

I see this feature. It offers a list but Jamstix does not sense the pedal and manual selection to 11 does not help either. |

I found that the problem was not with Jamstix, REAPER or Behringer pedal.
I needed to Insert|Virtual Instrument from the menu rather than use the
Effects button.
I also seem to need to press "1" when I turn the pedal on. |
