This is a 12 bar I was fooling with to practice the Dr. Rhino drum sound tutorial with. I got the drums to sound pretty punchy I think. The drummer is Stewart, and I like everything he does except the kick. At first there were kicks that were like blips from nowhere. I turned down the 16th kicks to nothing, and the follow kicks too, but there were still some odd blips, so I turned down the kicks in fills too. It's the R&B classic style wit the R&B intimate kit, I think. The next step is to go to 8 outs so I can isolate the kick sound, I guess.

The rhythm is a MiM Strat with a Tonerider Pure Vintage set and the lead is a MiM ash Tele with GFS Li'l Punchers, if anyone is interested.

Advice about the mix and the drums welcome. Of course, the playing can't be helped. Smile

Thanks.

John
