Hi Ralph,

I want to compose a drum track completely from scratch and not have any unwanted sounds e.g. small fills that seem to occur out of nowhere Laughing

Is there a quick way of starting off with a completely blank template? and then only hearing the hits that I put in myself?

I'm sure this is simple but for the life of me I can't figure it out.

Many thanks for your time Ralph.

Take care.

Terry

Load the style Silent and then load the drummer Silent. Should solve your problem of Jamstix being too pushy Wink

I was about to post the same question.
I loaded the style silent, unchecked the fills in the song sheet, but still had occassional drums/percussion without anything showing in the Bar Editor (hmmm...must be "ghost in the machine" Laughing ).

Anyway, I hope putting drummer to silent will do the trick.

Yes, if you have a drummer loaded you'll still get accents, even if the style is set to silent. The options are to load the 'silent' drummer, or else move the overall slider all the way to the left in the Accents tab.
