A few basic questions. It has been a while since I was last on JS. Also manual is not helping.

- I have a midi groove clip in Sonar that I want to import. How do I do that?
- I want certain bars to be totally silent. Struggling with this.
- how do I change red bars (JS has decided that these should be fills) into yellow bars that are not fills.

Thanks have struggled with these and there is something in the manual I am not getting. Have successfully done these before though.

Save the groove in Sonar to a MID file. Create a part for that song section in JS2 and load the 'Import' style, then use '<click to load>' in the brain groove section to specify your saved MIDI file.

Use the trash can on the bar and then 'Lock' the bar.

Either disable the automatic fills for the part by unchecking the fill boxes in the song sheet or override it by going to the fill, clicking 'Fill' in the brain selector and then clicking the trash can.
