Hi,
I'm messing around with JS and trying to make a ska kind of track. Is there an appropriate style / drummer / kit combo in JS2 already? If not where's the best place to start. Currently I have Soca style with a latin kit...

Also, is there a place on here where people post new styles and drummers for folks to try??

Cheers.

Don't laugh: I did a ska-punk song with thrash metal (low to lowest complexity) ans lars as drummer. Worked for me.

Ska punk uses mostly double-time backbeat grooves so you should try the 'Two Step' style from the 'Country' folder with a MetalPak drummer (specifically, Lars, Danny or Neil) to get those double-bass elements.

It would be great to have a list of these little gems listed somewhere Ralph. There must be lots of useful styles buried in Jamstix, but I wouldn't guess where to find them.
