How do I synchronize the tempo in jamstix to an audio track using the jam with audio setting? Is audioM8 supposed to output tempo information? I am using Cubase VST Score ver. 5.1 and am able to install audioM8 into the master effects and send effects but the jamstix output seems to be synchronized to the midi tempo. Otherwise everything seems to work fine with Cubase VST Score 5.1.
Thanks.

Jamstix is always synched to the host so you'll need to synch the host to your audio track. Many hosts have 'Extract Tempo From Audio' functions etc. for this. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Thanks Ralph for your help and quick reply. Since this version of Cubase is at least 4-5 years old, I am not sure if it has an extract tempo from audio function, but I will look for it. Otherwise I may have to try other software which I have including ACID Pro 6.0 or Adobe Audition. |
