I'm working on this bass groove in 6/4 so I made a JS2 part (manual entry) with that time sig. but, all the fills have a 4/4 feel, regardless of the drummer I choose.
I've never really used manual entry for a complete rhythm in JS2 before this and I have to admit I don't know how to get the drummers to play on what I entered.
can someone give me some tips on how to use original rhythms with the JS2 drummers? |

it seems the best way is to save a manually entered groove as a style. two short sections in the manual, 11.7 and 11.8, hint at this.
the only thing is, the program doesn't ask for a name, it just automatically names it "groove"
so when i do it this way (save the groove) the drummer interpretations come out much better. i don't get it but there it is |

| You could also try adding the 'Classic Kick & Snare controls' from the 'Add' dropdown. That will give you a grid where you can just enter your basic groove. |
