| Working on a piece where I'm trying to use Jamstix to just generate tom fills, but I keep getting snare hits in the fills. I saw a post here a while back (can't find it now) from a fellow having the same problem, and Ralph said that some drummer models or some styles would generate snare hits no matter the settings on the fill page. I have tried several different styles, and I am using Silence for the drummer, but I keep getting snare hits. I have the snare set to zero percent on the fill page, and the toms set to 100 percent. Anyone know of a style that will let me use just toms? I could do the fills manually, but I think Jamstix would do a better job. Thanks!! |

The fills are controlled by style and drummer. That's why using a silent drummer won't help. You'll also lose the feel processing if you don't use a drummer.
I'll take a closer look at what we can do in the fill engine but for now I recommend you let it create the fills and then manually change snare hits toms or whatever you like in the bar editor, then lock the bar. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
