well, jamstix behaved before on the 4 count intro (it was silent) but now after upgrading, it plays, even though the first bar is blackened.
also, was seeing how you fixed the MIDI out only. Said something like the sounds in jamstix were loading too. So basically for a while I was hearing BFD and jamstix drums combined? I had some wierd sounding drum mixes for a little while, so im wondering why that was in my quest fr the perfect snare sound w/ jamstix and BFD. |

This is caused by the 'bar jumping'. See if this helps:

Not sure if I understand. With X3-11 and up, if MIDI-Out Only is checked, you will not hear the internal sounds along with BFD. If you do want that, then leave the box unchecked. Did I misunderstand you? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

"when Jamstix starts in MIDI-Out Only mode, the internal samples are no longer loaded"
i was just wondering if that meant the internal samples were being triggered along with the BFD ones when an arrangement played. NowI am thinking, they may have loaded, but made no noise. |

They shouldn't have triggered but I'm not 100% on that... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| i believe i had the same problem, that i was hearing bfd and jamstix(on very low) together--so i just loaded BFD through jamstix as external module, and my drums started to sound the way they're supposed to-- anyway, it's fixed now with the recent beta |
