Hi Ralph , bit of a problem here , I have a song done that i want to preserve exactly as it is - so i save the song . when i load it into new project it plays back fine ,except all the hihat work is wide open/splashing.
Even when i load in a different kit - the hi hat is wide open -
the hi hat says closed hi hat too .
Is the performance ie: the way the hi hat should be played ,stored in the song save? the brain settings are exactly as they were in the original saved song.
the original was written in beta 2.1.4 the current is 2.2.1 , i dont know if that would be a possible cause.
when this song is dragged into project and played as midi the hi hats are right.

Thanks
Brendan

This usually happens when the host sends a #4 MIDI Controller message of value 0, which means no hihat pedal pressure and, thus, opens the hats. If there is no such MIDI event and you don't think the host is sending it then send me a 'Save Song' file so I can try to duplicate this here.
