|
|
I have experienced a curious MIDI behaviour on JS2. I recently bought a Berhinger FCB1010 to control some JS2 parameters such as velocity and loops. But as many knows, FCB1010 has Program Change switches (for loops) and 2 pedals for Control Changes (example : one for velocity).
Imagine I am on PC switch number 1. With a pedal near this switch I control velocity. Great.
Then I select PC switch n°2. Live loop is changing. Good.
But Velocity control of JS2 is resetted to 0 !
First I thought my MIDI footswitch was sending orders from CC pedals when I changed PC switches. Then I authorized CC pedals when I am on switch n°1 and I disabled CC pedals when I am on switch n°2. But Jamstix is still resetting velocity to 0 when I select switch n°2.
Is it expected ? Am I missing something ? |

I can't duplicate the problem. Are you using 2.2.1 Beta 7? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Well well...
I know why you can't replicate this problem
I just analysed MIDI messages through Midi-Ox software
And I discovered that the problem is coming from my foot controller
Bad parameters
Conclusion :
FCB1010 is Ok
Jamstix2 is working perfectly well, as expected
And once again I've noticed new features in JS2 that are wonderfully interesting in my way to make music
Thanks again to having delivered us a so well-designed software
And thanks to your support |
