Hi
Just done a scan. I am being told of a virus in jamstix/pluggin/mapping. I have had a false alarm with Avast before, with a Nero pluggin if I remember correctly. That instance was confirmed as a false alarm.
Just wondered if anyone else had had this??
Thanks |

I just started a thorough scan last night and I hit a warning with the brush-stick pack warning that there's a worm virus in the .rdm file
I have it quarantined right now because on my laptop, I recently have had a worm virus infection that now makes Windows close Windows Explorer!
I don't know how I got the virus - the one shutting down windows explorer is not a false alarm from Avast - windows is actually behaving this way.
So I'm a little nervous just to ignore something.
As soon as Avast stops it's scan, I'll look in the quarantine chest to get the details. |

RDM files are just mapping data files. Your virus scanner is merely mistaking a data sequence in it with a virus marker. Since RDM files are just data and not executable code, there is no virus or danger. Just a false positive. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
