Hi Ralph - as I understand JS, it's assuming a 5 tom kit. So if I do a 3 tom or 4 tom kit in DFHS instead, what's your personal recommendation on mapping the 5 JS toms to the 3 (or 4) DFHS toms?
For a 3 tom DFHS kit, should I just take JS tom 3 and map it to DFHS rack tom 2 and then map JS 4&5 to DFHS floor tom?
Or should I something outside the box and send it to something else entirely?
I realize that there's probably more than one answer depending on just how creative you want to be (more cowbell anyone? ) but since I don't know squat about playing drums and what subs will give the closest feel to what a real drummer would do... |

I recommend this:
Tom1, Tom2 -> Tom 1
Tom 3 -> Tom 2
Tom4, Tom5 -> Tom 3 _________________ Ralph Zeuner
