Hi,
I use Jamstix 2 with Sonar 7.02 PE. Since the last upadte (Jamstix 1.4) I had the impression, that the update is not complete. Jamstix always shows Version 2.0.9! Today I tried to update to 2.2 and it´s the same. If I go to the Jamstix 2 folder the jamstix.dll is from 17.3.2008. And the Revision.html shows the new version. Also the manual is for 2.2. But I can not see the new functions like skins etc.
If I go to the PlugIn Manager in Sonar the path for Jamstix 2 is corect (.../vstplugins/jamstix2/jamstix2.dll). But if I look to the PlugIn Properties it shows me an other path: (.../vstplugins/jamstix2/data/jamstix2.dll).
How can I get the update???

Danke für die Antwort! Heißt das, dass in den /data/ Ordner gar keine dll rein gehört? Dann würd ich die mal raus löschen. Ich hab schon eine im /jamstix2/ Ordner drin und die scheint auch verändert worden zu sein. Die weißt nämlich das Datum 17.3. auf. Und die dll im /data/ Ordner hat ein uraltes Datum. Ich weiß nur nicht, ob ich sie einfach löschen kann?? Dann scheint da Sonar irgendwie fälschlicherweise drauf zu zu greifen!

Genau, die .dll aus dem Data- Ordner kannst du löschen.

Well, Andi stated that there were two .dll files, one within the data folder of jamstix2.
I suggested to delete this one as the required .dll has to be in vstplugins/jamstix2.

These problems usually occur when you have manually moved the jamstix2.dll to a new location. The updater doesn't know about it and will update the original location.

If that happens, simply copy the latest DLL from the updater to the desired location so all jamstix2.dlls are up to date.

Thanks for the replies. I'll copy the new .dll file into my T3 vst folder and that should do it.
